Just a heads-up to devoted readers, followers and rec'ers alike:

In response to a few comments from earlier posts, I've changed the number of recommendations required to front-page a FanPost/FanShot from 5 to 3. This will hopefully get some more of your own content to the front page (where, I might add, a lot of it deserves to be) and will hopefully generate some more discussion, as well.

I confess that, while getting the ball rolling, I haven't been able to get over to the FanPosts as regularly as I'd like. I'll be making more of an effort to do this in the future, and to recommend posts that have a place on the front page. 

That said, please feel free to recommend any posts you see that you feel deserve a little bit extra recognition so that we can get them some more love. And if you write anything that you want frontpaged automatically, please don't hesitate to email it to me directly and I'll be happy to put it up.
