Kathryn Tappen leaving NESN for NHL Network?
This is a much larger story about NESN and CSNNE's ongoing war, but one tidbit on the 3rd page says that we could be just weeks away from Tappen leaving Boston for the national stage. Initial thoughts: good for her and great for the NHL Network, since her tenor and delivery is exactly what they desperately need, but man, the local broadcast is going to take a hit.

They lost Hazel Mae to the MLB Network, but let’s face it: Hazel Mae wasn’t right for Boston, and Boston wasn’t right for Hazel Mae. Know what this means?
Come on, NESN. Do the right thing.
I can't seriously be asked to summarize my sports fandom in a short blurb for all to see, can I?

I’m so bummed KT is going, I loved her analysis and it has nothing to do with the harps playing in the background every time she spoke or the way the sun came out at night every time her face was on the TV.
Going from KT to Dale Arnold is like going from caviar to cheese wiz, but the man does know his hockey.
Good luck KT!
