Any way figured i also enjoy talking about them history behind them how ugly/odd some are and How Bad ASS some can be, Im not just talking NHL, some of those euro leagues have some pretty crazy things going on.... So hope some of you can chime in on your favorites and some of the ones you hate Enjoy.....oh and What's on Tap? we are going to need it for this

I’m a fan of the Finnish Flash and always dug team Finland’s jerseys:
1. They’re kind of Wild-esque. 2. Look who’s wearing it. That guy makes any sweater fuckin’ awesome.

That said I love this and the burger king and the blues horns and every canucks sweater pre-maroon-gradient, so some people would think that I’m a little biased.

Bingo. The whole thing with the alternate jerseys is to be different. Got a modern looking team like the Blues? Go with a classic looking alt (as they did). Classic looking team like Bruins? Go with something more radical (like the Bear Head).

ok so i have a question for you folks…… Knockoffs how do you feel about them?
i use to say never would i want them, but then after a while i said Wait……i go to bar’s these things cost alot and i always some how get some form of something on one, Fuck it $30 for a not so bad one that i can wear where ever and not have a care in the world if i get Narragansett all over it haha…… now that said i have 4 knock of B’s ones i got from a friend who well didnt know they were going to be knock offs i felt bad and said it’s ok and paid him any way, The Road whites are so bad but i can live with it, The Black homes are pretty good but you could spot some offs,

Once upon a time....
…in a small Connecticut city, a minor league hockey team was born. It’s owner was a mob associate, who appointed his 18-year-old hockey playin’ son as general manager after he graduated high school. The team featured an Arab player, another from Nigeria, and Wayne Gretzky’s no-talent brother. It’s highest scorer also led the league in PIMs.
I give you the Danbury Trashers.

What a kickass logo too. Danbury’s current team is the Federal Hockey League (yep!) Whalers, which has jerseys with a cool take on the basic Hartford look:
One of the co-owners of the Danbury Whalers is Mike Barnes, the son of William Barnes, one of the four founders of the original Whalers franchise. Mike also worked with the Hartford Whalers for 11 years.

I went to a Danbury Trashers game once.
Two guys fought before the puck even dropped the ice. The 18 yr-old son/GM wore sweatpants, a wife-beater and multiple gold chains in the “owners box” and his mother wore leopard print spandex. Unreal.

That league is going to have an actual Cape Cod team this year. Pretty good that they about doubled their teams in two seasons. That’s the kind of league that I hope gets a team closer to Boston, I’d be very happy to have cheap FHL games to check out.

I need to represent. The Highlander hockey jerseys have gone way downhill since I was in school though – they used to be Rangers jerseys that said ‘Somerville’ on them (which admittedly is not great)… but now they look like football jerseys – booooo!
