In the next couple of weeks we will be bringing you sixteen of the top moments of the Boston Bruins 2010-11 season. We have separated the nominees into two categories: Post season and regular season moments. We will have a poll question each day for you to pick your winner until we are down to the best moment of the year.
The first two regular season moments come from the first half of the regular season, respectively from both Zdeno Chara and Marc Savard.
Chara's hat trick: Zdeno Chara recorded his first career hat trick against the Carolina Hurricanes in a 7-0 domination back in January. His third goal came on a 5-on-3 power play, and his celebration was unforgettable. Chara threw his hands up over his head with a mile-wide smile, and as if he heard Jack Edwards say, "And here come the chapeaus!" he pretended to take a hat off of his own head to throw along with the audience - a big celebration for the biggest man in the league.

Marc Savard's return: In December, Marc Savard played his first game in the NHL 2010-2011 season. He led the team out to the ice and received a deafening standing ovation. The fun wasn't over yet, as he recorded a shot on net during the 8-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning
