Public Skate: Guy Boucher is Decidedly Less Interesting These Days
Boston Bruins at Tampa Bay Lightning, Jan 17, 2012 7:30 PM EST
Seriously, I haven't heard a Boucher's scar joke in forever. Heard a lot of Tampa Bay jokes recently, though.
Moral of the story here is that the Bruins are plus-70 in goal differential, and the Bolts are minus-35. So this game should be a cakewalk.
But you could have said that about the last two games, too. So let's just wait and see before we jump to our conclusions.
Lines are the same as last night. Let's see if they decide to play a little bit more defense in front of Timmy.

Any corporations can shut down any website without discretion just because the corporations believes it’s infringing on a copyright.

Naive question
But how does America have the right to rule the internet? Is it just because the servers/domain-hosts are on US land?
by RoughneckNine0 on Jan 17, 2012 9:26 PM EST up reply actions
Ostensibly
the bill is supposed to shut down foreign filesharing sites, but it’s so broadly written and clumsily worded that it gives corporations the ability to shut down any site, anywhere, anytime for any reason.
by Anthony Emerson on Jan 17, 2012 9:28 PM EST up reply actions
But that doesn't make sense
There have to be other laws against the US shutting down sites hosted in other countries
by RoughneckNine0 on Jan 17, 2012 9:28 PM EST up reply actions
(un)surprisingly, there are none.
Many countries haven’t updated their penal code to the 21st century.
by Anthony Emerson on Jan 17, 2012 9:30 PM EST up reply actions
Well if it’s illegal for an ISP to allow connections to it, the site is effectively shut down in the USA

The next time I hear anything from a Southern hockey fan about how they care just as much and are just as passionate, I’m going to punch someone. Yes, this crowd is a sellout. It’s also at least 40% Boston fans.
This also happens in Ottawa for Montreal/Toronto fans

Shore’s trades are a favorite topic of conversation in the AHL. Hershey sportswriters still are talking about the time he made a man-for-man swap but was tormented at the last minute over what he considered a slight discrepancy in the players’ worth. He finally agreed to the trade on the condition that Hershey throw in a brand-new goal net to complete the transaction.
