The Noon Number
6 - The total number of goals scored by Shawn Thornton over the past calendar year.
Not designed to pile on Scott Gomez (ok, maybe a bit a lot), but having a fourth liner like Thornton who brings a bunch of muscle while also chipping in on the offensive end makes his $812,500 salary seems that much better when compared to Gomez's $7.35 million deal.

I have heard that the interview he did with the Canucks "journalist"
was really good. :)
Yeah it wasn’t bad.
would’ve been better without the smug loudmouth asshole boston journalist, whoever that was

Wasn’t it Felger?
Our intention isn't to discuss this... it's to see if you can bleed.

Bergeron for Selke.
Give Nifty his number back!
you won't like me when I'm angry...
…unless of course, you happen to be a blood-thirsty Bruins fan.
Then we should be just fine.
Peachy in fact.

It’s a good thing Stu feels no pain
Because that looks like it would have sucked if he did.

oh but don’t you know about his possession skills? (EOTP has been trying to rationalize his value hard)
I stand with Tuukka Rask in his fight to be a starting goaltender
Possession is important.
So is scoring goals when you cost 7.5 million (lol)

who (now that we know he’s okay) had a hilarious moment this weekend when he hurt himself while scoring a goal.

Wow, missed that. Not a move his body is used to making I guess. Hilarious

He goes down like he was shot. Good to know he’s ok, though.
