Bruins Acquire F Chris Bourque From Washington for Zach Hamill

At long last, our long national nightmare is over. Zach Hamill has been traded to the Washington Capitals for Chris Bourque, son of Bruins great Ray Bourque.

Bourque has appeared in 33 career NHL games, registering 1-3=4 totals and 12 penalty minutes. In 391 career regular-season AHL games, he has 131-262=393 totals and 270 PIMs. In addition, in 72 career postseason AHL games, Bourque has 15-47-62 totals and 66 penalty minutes.

Hamill has appeared in 20 career NHL games, totalling 0-4=4 and four penalty minutes.

Bourque was the Caps' second-round pick in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, the 33rd overall selection. He played one year under Jack Parker at BU. He was four times a 20-goal scorer with Hershey in the AHL.
