Good Riddance!
At some point this morning, The Detroit Red Wings are going to do their usual thing and attempt to take over as much of the NHL spotlight as possible by having top-10 all-time defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom retire right after game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Selfish as usual, but at least it means one thing:
THERE WAS A TOTALLY COOL PICTURE HERE BUT WE DON'T HAVE THE RIGHTS SO DEAL
Bobby Orr still owns the Norris trophy.
Highlight of the day:
Normally this would be a highlight of Dwight King scoring another goal from last night's game but damn if I don't enjoy this particular video tribute. A couple minutes in Bobby shows off while defending a couple empty nets. Goodness gracious, just the best ever.
And Bourque was number 2. I hope Lidstrom enjoys his retirement as much as I already do.
