Hi,
my name is Toni, im from Croatia and need your help. Im playing with idea,
what if there were Expansion draft and i need your help.
Now, here is scenario. What if there is expansion draft for new NHL team,
so Bruins must protect either up to five defensemen, nine forwards and one
goaltender; or up to three defensemen, seven forwards and two goaltenders.
Rules are:
Each club must expose for claim at least the following players who meet
the experience requirements indicated below:
ONE GOALTENDER: For clubs protecting one goaltender, no experience
requirement. For clubs protecting two goaltenders, either 10 NHL games
played in the last season or 25 NHL games played over the last two seasons
ONE EXPERIENCED DEFENSEMAN: Either 40 NHL games played in the last season
or 70 NHL games played over the last two seasons. Games played include
regular season and playoff games.
TWO EXPERIENCED FORWARDS: Either 40 NHL games played in the last season or
70 NHL games played over the last two seasons. Games played include
regular season and playoff games.
Players who are exempt from the Expansion Draft are all first and
second-year pros. I already erased them.
So, players who are on the list for protecting or exposing are:
F:
Patrice Bergeron,
David Krejci,
Milan Lucic,
Brad Marchand,
Rich Peverley,
Chris Kelly,
Nathan Horton,
Benoit Pouliot,
Gregory Campbell,
Daniel Paille,
Brian Rolston, UFA
Shawn Thornton,
Josh Hennessy, UFA
Trent Whitfield,

D:
Mike Mottau,
Zdeno Chara
Joe Corvo, UFA
Andrew Ference,
Dennis Seidenberg,
Johnny Boychuk,
Greg Zanon, UFA

G:
Tuukka Rask
Tim Thomas
Marty Turco, UFA
Anton Khudobin
If you were Bruins GM who would you protect and, in your opinion, who would be best pick for new team.
Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad english :-D
Toni
