Two NHL teams have shown interest in 37yo D Per-Johan Axelsson, his agent tells Expressen. 1y left in contract with Frölunda.
Intrepid servo-type commentator TomServo42 brought this to our attention yesterday in the morning post but it's the biggest news of the last day (other than Snoop Dogg wearing a Saskatchewan Roughriders jersey) so here I am writing about it. P.J. Axelsson, who has played the 10th-most games as a Bruin by anyone in Bruins history, is eyeing a return to the NHL.
Emails to his agent were not returned and I didn't stand outside his agents' office with a boombox despite urging from certain editors.
