This blog has a very pro-american-national-teams slant but as we've now won the Olympics, it's important to take some time to appreciate other nations that make up the hockey world. Which brings me to today's morning skate, celebrating the home country of Patrice Bergeron, Rich Peverley, Milan Lucic, Brad Marchand, Nathan Horton, Tyler Seguin, Johnny Boychuk, Andrew Ference, Adam McQuaid, Chris Kelly, Shawn Thornton, Greg Campbell, Daniel Paille, Dougie Hamilton, Claude Julien, Peter Chiarelli, Cam Neely, and so on.
And what we're celebrating today is: Poutine!
Yes, this combo of fries, gravy, and cheese-curds is quite delicious and if you haven't tried it you should.
Similarly, you should read Joe's Clamor on Causeway column below if you haven't already, it's talking about fun things.
