The Bruins are 9-2-2 so far, I pretty decent record I know, but to me something seems to be missing. The bruins have trailed more than they have led thus far, but have a great record...a bit strange to say the least. I think the Bruins are missing their fast starts to games, and the reason why is their physical play seems to be really toned down so far. Sure Lucic and Thornton are still throwing their weight around, but the rest of the team isn't really. I'm trying to count the number of big body checks they've had that I can remember, and not many jump out. On top of this when they've played some of their games (vs. Buffalo for example) they have been out-bruin-ed. I just wonder if this is something Julien is trying to preach or are some of the questionable calls from earlier games messing with the B's heads? I think everyone would agree, in order for the Bruins to be at their best they've have to intimidate the other teams.
What does everyone else think?
