Umass Lowell won the Hockey East regular season title and take the number 1 seed into the Hockey East tourney. So that's pretty cool, usually it's BC or BU or Maine or UNH. Seriously, this is the first time it wasn't one of those four schools that nobody likes or should ever like. Way to go, Riverhawks!
Oh yeah, in case you didn't hear, this has caused BU's coach Jack Parker to announce that, out of the shame of Umass Lowell getting #1, he is retiring after this year. A Ray Lewis moment, of sorts.
