Time for a rest?

After watching the Bruins these last couple weeks I have to say they look TIRED. Even Chara, the guy who climbs mountains for fun in the off-season, hasn't looked like himself the past 4 or 5 games. With 8 games left I would say the B's are a lock for 4th in the Eastern Conference. Montreal with their young legs look destined for 2nd if you ask me. So why not start resting some guys. Play Redden / Johnson / Pandolfo / Caron etc, and start resting the top players. Its been a LONG short season. Take a look at our hit totals from the last few games and you'll see something isn't right. Can anyone remember Lucic hitting a single Islander tonight? When was the last time someone dropped the gloves? The Big Bad Bruins look not so Bad lately. I do believe if Bergeron and Marchand can come back for the playoffs ( and there's not point in rushing them back) the B's have a legitimate chance of coming out of the East, but not without some rest. Part of the reason there are so many careless turnovers in our own zone have to be a result of tired players not thinking.

Claude if you can hear me, its time to give the team some rest. Have some tough meaningful practices, but give them some games off.
