If the playoffs started right this minute the B's would face the Rangers in the first round of the playoffs and I'm not sure about anyone else, but that match-up scares the hell out of me. In the last few years the Rangers have had our number (particularly Lundqvist) with this year being no exception. I honestly feel that if the Bruins get an easier match-up, let's say against the Leafs, Isles or Sens, the Bruins might be able to build some momentum and go deep into the playoffs, but against the Rangers I'm not sure. They're playing their best hockey of the year, while the Bruins aren't. The new pieces on the Rangers have fit together perfectly, while Boston has yet to find chemistry with all their players; old and new. This match-up doesn't feel right to me; much like the 2012 playoff with the Bruins facing the Caps. I told lots of people around me last year, I thought the Caps would upset the Bruins, and I have the same scary feeling this year. I'm really hoping the Rangers will move up to 6th and the Islanders slipping to 7th.
Anyone but the Rangers please....What does everyone else think?
