Friday Morning Skate: A Passing Moment

Michael N. Todaro

Lets all have a moment of silence today, folks. There is no longer a theater anywhere remotely near Boston that's showing Furious 6. It's a sad day that this summer's best action flick isn't in theaters anymore. The upside, of course, is that it'll be on DVD soon. Maybe even sooner than the NHL schedule, because Bettman and Daly, Inc. is completely incompetent at anything remotely close to negotiating without going months over. They make the big dig look prompt. The people that care are the people planning trips but it's important to note that the NHL doesn't give a fuck about any of us if we keep giving them money. It's frustrating as hell because hockey owns.

Sigh. What's on tap?
