Now fill in the blanks

Today at (hockey equipment company) camp, (Bruins Player) along with players from (other team 1) (other team 2) and (other team 3) participated in the (deceased former player) memorial tournament in (small town name), (State or Province).

These players take their offseason training very seriously, so as you can imagine, the tournament was intense. In the first period of a game in which (player 5's) (natural disaster) faced off against (player 6's) (animal name)s, (1st number) players left the ice with injuries, including (player name 3) who sustained a fractured (body part). It will keep him out of commission for (length of time), but hopefully he'll be back in time for opening night.

In the second period, (player name 2) fought (player name 1). (Player 1), who was attending the camp for the first time, won the fight by unanimous decision. Unfortunately, he also left the ice bleeding from the (part of face). He was able to return in the third period, and managed to score his team's game-tying goal.

The game went to a (2nd number) round shootout, at which point both teams got bored and decided to call it a draw. (Bruins Player) was named one of the three stars. (Player 6) spent most of the game on the bench with his phone taking selfies, which you can find on his (social media site) account.

After the game, players were made available to the media, and (player 8), who is not usually one to make inflammatory comments, gave an unsolicited statement on (social issue). When contacted about it, (General Manager) declined to comment. (Player 8) was acquired by (General Manager) this offseason. He is signed through (year in the future).

Next week, we'll bring you a report on (famous former player)'s (fundraising event type) in (city). And remember, only 39 days until Bruins' opening night!

It can't come fast enough.
