Boston Blades Open Season in Montreal

The Boston Blades of the Canadian Women's Hockey League will open their season on October 18th in Montreal. After a devastating loss in the Clarkson Cup final last season at the hands of the Toronto Furies head coach Digit Murphy will be looking to lead her team back and finish the job this season.

With past Olympians Monique Lamoureux, Brianna Decker and Hilary Knight all likely to start the season in Boston the Blades look primed and ready to be a solid team this year. Boston will be in tough to remain in the top three teams this year with the Calgary Inferno bringing in their own high end talent in the names of Haley Irwin, Rebecca Johnston and Bailey Bram.
