Welcome, everyone! How's everyone feeling? I, myself, am hoping against hope that the Columbus Blue Jackets and Los Angeles Kings can force a Game Seven against their rivals the Pittsburgh Penguins and the San Jose Sharks tonight. (I'll spare you all my rendition of "To Dream the Impossible Dream." You're welcome.)
The puck drop for the Jackets-Pens game is at 7 p.m. Then at 9 p.m., the Wild and Avalanche face off in Minnesota. And finally, I really hope you're all with me for this -- we get to find out the answer to the question of whether L.A. has enough #GRIT to come back from being down three games to none and is able to knot the series and send it back for all the marbles for a Game Seven in San Jose. It looks good (maybe) that it's being reported the Sharks will have back-up goalie Alex Stalock in net, as opposed to its usual starter Antti Niemi. In any case, the Staples Center is going to be a nut house tonight.
What do you think? Would you like to see the underdogs force a Game Seven? Have you reached the point yet where none of the games matter anymore, and bring on the Hans already? How long will it take before I make my cat run off and hide again? And last, but not least, what's on tap?
