Um...omg, you guys, ACTUAL BRUINS NEWS! Malcolm Subban has been locked up for his first three years of professional hockey. Sweet.

Former Bruins first round pick Matt Lashoff is going to Switzerland, where his defensive skills will be almost as in demand as his musical talent. (I had made an Abba joke here, but he's going to Switzerland, not Sweden. Don't get to caught up in trying to make an Abba joke, kids.)

Rather than their usual home and home with the Islanders, the Bruins rookies were set to compete in a tournament with the Hurricanes and Panthers' rookies. Thanks to the CBA nonsense, this is now not happening. Link goes to Raw Charge's coverage on the cancellation. Lame.

Calling all Massholes (and self-proclaimed Massholes, too)! Birda needs your help. So for my two year art program, I have to do 24 projects all relating back to a theme, which in my case is the commonwealth of Massachusetts. Unfortunately, I am running out of ideas for project proposals and so I am requesting your help. As many of you are residents or former residents of said state, any alternate angle, facet, or weird/unusual factoid or historical-thingy you suggest would be very helpful.
