NHL13 Ratings for your Boston Bruins, thanks to Puck Daddy.
Good for them after such a tragedy! from Puck Daddy!
Puck Daddy had the link to this...it's a missing kitteh, and it's named after Patrick Cleary Bergeron, so we need to get him home! Keep an eye out if you're in the area.
This is a template of the bruins gameday posters, using a scan of one of brad marchand from massive collectibles. If you want to use this template, make sure to use a cropped picture, where the background/main colour of the jersey is transparent. layer it over the background, and crop accordingly(sticks, heads, etc. usually overlap stuff, but legs/skates are cut at the date/time label). Use a text tool to enter in the title(BRUINS in the official posters), subtitle (away team tame in official posters, next to "versus") and date/time in appropriate boxes. Any questions, feel free to contact me.
Teams of two may now begin competition for the GIF-Jennings award of the year! Competition will run until December 31st, on which day the judge (still to be appointed--any volunteers?) will decide which team has posted the best combination of GIFs for 2012. Teams must announce themselves and may or may not assume a team name. (EDITOR'S EDIT: TEAM NAMES ARE REQUIRED. -Sarah) Team names must be approved by both parties before use of the name begins.
No Weber in the East? Well that's good news.
Well, he earned it. From WEEI: Bruins give Claude Julien multi-year extension.
From the press release: Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, July 18, that the club has signed defenseman Aaron Johnson to a one-year, two-way contract through the 2012-13 season. Johnson’s contract is worth $650,000 at the NHL level and $105,000 at the AHL level. Johnson, a 6’1", 204-pound defenseman, skated in 56 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets in 2011-12, registering three goals and setting NHL career highs with 13 assists and 16 points, while collecting 16 penalty minutes. This is exactly what it looks like: cheap defensive depth. Providence struggled mightily on the blueline last year, with a younger defense corps than in any prior year. Johnson has 10-32=42 totals in the NHL in 172 career games, and 26-83=109 totals in the AHL in 215 career games. If nothing else, this will provide the Bruins' bottom pairing with some healthy competition.
From the press release: "Boston Bruins General Manager Peter Chiarelli announced today, July 12, that the club has signed defenseman Matt Bartkowski to a one-year, two-way contract through the 2012-13 season. Bartkowski’s deal is worth $660,000 at the NHL level and $62,500 at the AHL level." Bartkowski doesn't project to be anything incredible at the NHL level, but this gives him the chance to prove himself. Not a bad deal.
I've already spent too much time today searching this site for Camel Mud & Monster Series info, so I'll let you guys peruse this search listing and find what interesting stuff exists for tobacco sponsorships for the B's.
