They are not done yet, but Chris Kelly and Gregory Campbell are closing in on new multi-year deals with BOS. Both are UFA on July 1. Point is, unless there is some unexpected last-minute hitch in final stages of negotiations, both will be back in BOS next season.

Bob McKenzie. So what do we think the terms of their deals will be?

Bruins sign Paille through 2015, Bourque through 2014

76

The Bruins have agreed to terms with forwards Daniel Paille and Chris Bourque. Paille will remain in Black and Gold through the 2014-15 season and Bourque - acquired last week in a trade with Washington for Zach Hamill's rights - will be a Bruin through the 2013-14 season. Paille has been a member of the Bruins since being acquired in a trade with Buffalo early in the 2009-10 season. The former first-round draft pick of the Sabres has played in 186 regular season games for Boston, notching 25-22=47 totals with 55 penalty minutes. He's also played in 46 postseason games, earning 4-5=9 totals. He'll make $1.3 million per year. Bourque, son of former Bruin Ray Bourque and native of Boston, has only appeared in 33 NHL games all-time, accumulating 1-3=4 totals, but has been a regular 20-goal scorer at the AHL level in Hershey. Bourque's contract is worth $550,000 at the NHL level and $200,000 at the AHL level.

Tim Thom considering taking the year off

Very odd. Doubt it happens but intriguing nonetheless. Interesting aspect to it is the fact that his 35+ contract means retiring doesn't remove his cap hit from the books.

found this a couple years ago and lost it. thought id show it now that ive found it again

Rick Nash is Not Coming to Boston

Matt wrote about this four days ago. But nothing's changed. He's not coming. Not for David Krejci, not for Tuukka Rask and definitely not for Milan Lucic. So let's just refrain from entertaining these thoughts anymore, okay? great.

From Hockeyexpressen: Bruins sign Svedberg

28

A quick-and-dirty google translate of this article reveals that the Bruins have signed the 22-year-old Svedberg out of Brynas of the SEL. He had a .947 save percentage and 1.70 GAA during his 13 playoff games. The writer of the article says that Svedberg probably expects to start the season in Providence. Interesting...tandem of Khudobin and Svedberg? Where does that leave Hutchinson? IS SOMEONE GETTING TRADED OMG? Post your goalie related thoughts here.

Could the Bruins deal for Rick Nash?

24

Hey, folks. There's been some talk on the local radio here in Columbus that the Bruins may be getting ready to make a big offer for Rick Nash at the Draft. We put together some possible trade targets over at The Cannon. I'd love to hear what you guys think might be on the table.
