Chris "Knuckles" Nilan arrested for shoplifting
Former Bruins enforcer Chris "Knuckles" Nilan was arrested on Wednesday afternoon after allegedly stealing a swimsuit from Lord & Taylor at South Shore Plaza. Police say that the 51 year old former NHL player went into a dressing and put on a Tommy Bahama swimsuit under the shorts his was wearing and walked out of the store. Security guards followed Nilan out of the store and confronted him. Nilan allegedly tried to take a swing at one of the guards but missed. The Police later arrived and arrested Mr. Nilan. He appeared in Quincy District Court on Thursday, where the case was dismissed and he was order to pay $100 in court fees. Nilan told people, "I just wanted to save a few bucks"
Were the Flyers the wrong choice for the Winter Classic?
ESPN's Scott Burnside thinks that the Washington Capitals would have been a better choice for the Winter Classic. I have to agree with Burnside, but I am excited about the game no matter who the opponent is.
