The B's trimmed their roster to 25 today, sending Joe Colborne, Zach Hamill, Jeremy Reich, Steve Kampfer, Jeff LoVecchio, and Wyatt Smith to Providence.

Jeremy Reich and Brad Marchand found the back of the net for the B's, while Matt Bartkowski factored into both goals by recording helpers. B's netminder Nolan Schaefer turned aside 25 shots in the loss. The B's and Caps will run this one back in a re-match tomorrow night in Boston.
