Kevin Paul Dupont of the Boston Globe is reporting that Zdeno Chara and the Bruins have agreed to a long-term contract extension that could be for as long as 6 to 7 years.

Phil Kessel is denying reports that he and his agent have refused to negotiate with the Bruins, but admitted that the chances of staying in Boston are slim.

According Kevin Paul Dupont of the Boston Globe, the Bruins have made several offers to Phil Kessel.
