Cuts for a Cause raises $40,000

Shawn Thornton, the Boston Bruins, and Toucher & Rich teamed up for the 4th annual Cuts for a Cause event at Ned Devine's to raise money for The Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. Fans bid on the opportunity to shave the heads of their favorite Bruins players to support The Floating Hospital. The event, which was started by former Bruins defenseman Aaron Ward and T&R during the old 'BCN days, raised $40,000 this year thanks to the participation of 16 members of the Bruins and all the fans that donated to a great cause.

Stanley Cup of Chowder on Facebook & Twitter

Bruins interviews on Toucher & Rich

Fred Toucher from Toucher & Rich on WBCN was at Fenway Park for the Winter Classic press conference and conducted some interviews with Cam Neely, Patrice Bergeron, Shawn Thornton, and Aaron Ward. Some highlights from the interviews included Fred trying to get Bergy to rip on Sidney Crosby's "playof beard", Shawn Thornton talking about tearing up the field at Fenway while shooting a NESN ad, and a hungover Aaron Ward sweating his way through the press conference. WBCN & Aaron Ward present Cuts for a Cause

WBCN, Aaron Ward and the Boston Bruins have teamed up once again for Cuts for a Cause to benefit pediatric cancer research at Mass General. The event takes place April 8th at The Harp from 3-5 pm. Come out to The Harp and see some of your favorite Bruins shave their heads for a good cause. Tickets are available at WBCN.com
