This is Hell Week for the Bruins. Unlike the Tri-Lambs, the B's won't have to give up their computers or sleep in the gym. They will however have to play four of the best teams in the Eastern Conference over the next 6 days. The Bruins will start what I am calling "Hell Week" tonight at the TD Banknorth Garden against the Washington Capitals, a team that the Bruins have not beaten this season in two previous meetings. From there, the Bruins will host the New Jersey Devils on Thursday and the New York Rangers on Saturday afternoon before heading up to Montreal for a Super Bowl Sunday matinee. This will certainly be a test for the B's. Luckily, help is on the way. The Bruins are expected to get Milan Lucic (shoulder) and Andrew Ference (broken tibia) back in the lineup for tonight's game. Bruins GM, Peter Chiarelli said that he expected that Patrice Bergeron (concussion) would also be back in the lineup tonight, but others have set a longer timetable for Bergy's return.
A preview of tonight's B's-Caps game will be up after the morning skate.Filed under:
