With the 25th pick in the 6th round of the 2009 NHL Draft (176 overall), the Boston Bruins picked right winger Tyler Randell from the Kitchener Rangers (OHL). Randell is a bit of a grinder, who can score some ugly goals here and there by going to the net. According to Hockey's Future, Randell needs to improve on his skating in order to take his game to the next level. He started the season with the Belleville Bulls, but was traded to the Kitchener Rangers halfway through the season. In 73 games this season, Randell recorded 37 points (24-13-37) and 99 PIMs.
