Pros

- Good size

- Strong on the puck

- Not afraid to go to the danger areas

- Good passer

- Strong work ethic: "His drive and determination are as good as anyone's playing the game." - Jack Brazee, NHL Central Scouting

- Two-way forward

- The Bruins had pretty good luck with another kid named Shore.

- He has committed to play at Denver next fall. Having him play with Bruins prospect Joe Colborne might not be a bad thing.

Cons

- Average skater

- Not a pure scorer.

- Did not have a very good showing at the Four Nations U-18 event in Lake Placid last fall: "Shore may as well have been at the shore on vacation during the Four Nations, 'cause he sure didn't show up in Lake Placid." - USA Today's Kyle Woodlief

- Interestingly, most of the negative press that I found about Shore came from USA Today's Kyle Woodlief: "Classic case of a guy who looks like he should be a player, but ultimately isn't."
