Bruins trade Marco Sturm to LA Kings

The Bruins announced moments ago that they have traded veteran left winger Marco Sturm to the Los Angeles Kings for future considerations....and this time it appears to be official.  The Bruins and Kings had reportedly reached a deal last week, but the deal allegedly fell through after the Kings took a look at Sturm's medical records. As you probably know, Sturm is on the verge of returning from his second major knee surgery in two years. The trade is contingent upon Marco Sturm passing a physical administered by the Los Angeles Kings medical staff.

I do not know if these "future considerations" mean that the Kings will decide who to send back to Boston after Sturm's physical or it is more of a "maybe we will consider trading with you again" sort of thing. At any rate, with the current cap situation and the question marks concerning Sturm's health, I think anything that they can get for Sturm is the right move to make.
