TSN is reporting that Marco Sturm has been traded to the LA Kings. ESPN is reporting that the Bruins will be receiving a conditional draft pick in return. This move brings the Bruins in compliance with the salary cap.
Sturm was scheduled to come off the Long Term Injured Reserve list in the next couple weeks and Marc Savard will be back as early as tonight's game. Sturm waived his no trade clause to go to the Kings, where he is familiar with GM Dean Lombardi from their days together in San Jose.
