Crosby, Bergeron, and Nash sounds like a lame cover band, but it is in fact the top line for the Canadian Olympic Hockey Team. Patrice Bergeron will shift from his familiar center position to the right wing, while Sidney Crosby will be in the middle with Rick Nash on the left wing. Bergeron and Crosby were linemates for Canada's gold meal-winning team at the 2005 World Junior Championships.
Bergeron and Crosby clicked well together on that '05 World Junior team and many think that played a big role in Bergeron making the Olympic team this year. I have to question the rationale of taking one of the game's top face-off men out of the circle, but these guys do have a pretty strong track record when skating on the same line.
