Bruins looking to take 2-0 series lead against Flyers in Game 2

The Bruins will try to go up 2-0 in their Eastern Conference Semifinal series with the Philadelphia Flyers when they take the ice for Game 2 tonight at TD Garden (7:00, Versus). The hometown team took Game 1 over Philly 5-4 in overtime on Saturday afternoon. The B's blew a 2-goal lead late in the third period, but Marc Savard found the back of the net in overtime to cap off his return to the ice in grand fashion. The B's hope to carry the momentum from that moment into Game 2 tonight. Meanwhile, the Flyers would love to split the first two games before heading to Philly for Games 3 and 4.

Notes:

- The Bruins will be without Marco Sturm for the rest of the playoffs and a large portion of next season after the veteran winger tore his ACL & MCL in his left knee during the first shift of Saturday's game.

- Mark Stuart skated in the morning skate today for the first time since being put on the shelf with a infection in his finger. Stuart is not expected to play tonight.

- Shawn Thornton skated on the right wing on the 4th line with Blake Wheeler and Steve Begin during the morning skate.

- If you bet $100 on the money line for every Philadelphia Flyers game this season including the playoffs, you would be in the hole $1,202.

- Comcast SportsNet New England will air a post game show immediately following tonight's game (which will air on Versus). Michael Felger of 98.5 The Sports Hub, Former Bruin and current Harvard head coach Ted Donato, Joe Haggerty of CSNNE, Joe Beninati of Versus, and former B's goalie Reggie Lemelin are all scheduled to make appearances.
