Training Camp Update 9/22: B's make cuts; announce roster for Habs preseason game

The Bruisn announced today that they have released 8 players from training camp. Goalies Adam Courchaine and Michael Hutchinson, defensemen Ryan Donald and Cody Wild, and Levi Nelson, Tyler Randell, Jordan Smotherman, and Antoine Roussel were all sent packing.

Adam Courchaine, Michael Hutchinson, Cody Wild, and Levi Nelson are under contract and have been assigned to the Providence Bruins. Ryan Donald, Jordan Smotherman, and Antoine Roussel will try to earn a spot on the Baby B's in AHL training camp. Tyler Randell has been assigned back to juniors with the Kitchener Rangers.

The Bruins also announced the roster for tonight's preseason game vs. the Montreal Canadiens in Montreal:

Forwards: Patrice Bergeron, Gregory Campbell, Jordan Caron, Nathan Horton, Brian McGrattan, Daniel Paille, Mark Recchi, Jeremy Reich, Max Sauve, Tyler Seguin, Ryan Spooner, Blake Wheeler

Defensemen: Matt Bartkowski, Andrew Bodnarchuk, Johnny Boychuk, Matt Hunwick, Adam McQuaid, Dennis Seidenberg

Goaltenders: Tuukka Rask, Nolan Schaefer

According to Fluto Shinzawa of the Boston Globe, winger Blake Wheeler could see some shifts at center tonight.
