Patrice Bergeron named NHL's 1st Star of the Month

The NHL announced today that Patrice Bergeron has been named the league's First Star for the month of January. The B's centerman finished the month with 17 points (8-9-17) in 14 games to go along with a +13 rating. The highlight of Bergy's stellar January was notching his first career hat trick on January 11th in a 6-0 win over the Ottawa Senators at TD Garden.

Phoenix Coyotes' defenseman Keith Yandle was named the Second Star, while Nashville Predators' goalie Pekka Rinne was honored as the NHL's Third Star for January.
