Hitting The Links: Drilling For Oil Edition

The Boston Bruins take on the Edmonton Oilers for the only time this season tonight, and as usual the media is beating the obvious story to death: Taylor vs Tyler. Taylor vs Tyler.

What will really be interesting will be to see the matchup between the teams' entire top lines. The Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Taylor Hall - Jordan Eberle line is impressive; will the Bruins be able to negate it? Nikolai Khabibulin's numbers are Tim Thomas-esque; will the Bruins be able to solve him? (For the record, Khabibulin is 6-10-3 in 20 career games against the Bruins, with a 3.00 GAA.)

After the jump, an AHL player avoids an earthquake, an OHL player (and Penguins draft pick) gets a 20-game suspension, the Lightning-Flyers game was a circus, and some Bruins stuff too, I guess.

NHL News
