According to a report by the Russian site Sports.ru Bruins blue line prospect Yury Alexandrov will be leaving the organization to sign a contract with the KHL club SKA St. Petersburg.
The 23 year-old defenseman and former second round pick (37th overall in 2006) has one year left on his entry level contract with the Bruins. He finished the year with 19 points (Six goals, 13 assists) over 66 games with the Providence Bruins.
The Bruins have yet to confirm the report.
