Greatest Moment of the 2010-11 season: Thomas vs. Seguin

Today's pair of moments come courtesy of the Eastern Conference Finals against Tampa Bay. The kid Tyler Seguin shows what everyone thought he was made of and well, TIm Thomas shows us all for the hundreth time what he is made of.

Game four in Boston, Tim Thomas makes an absolutely ridiculous save on Lightning winger and hated foe Steve Downie. Defenceman Eric Brewer intentionally shoots wide of Thomas off the boards right onto Downie's stick. Downie tries to one time the puck past the Thomas' right post when out of nowhere the man known as Tank performs grand larceny. It was one of the many five star saves Thomas made all season. If there was a reason to call the police it wouldn't be for the Zdneo Chara incident, but for Thomas robbing Downie of his pride.

Honorable mention goes to Dennis Seidenburg for cleaning out Martin St. Louis in front of Thomas' crease.

Rookie Tyler Seguin came to life after the loss off Patrice Bergeron for a portion of round three. In game two out of no where the kid tore apart Dwayne Roloson and the rest of the Lightning squad for two goals and two assists. Seguin had a couple of key games in this series but cooled off soon after. However without the effort and charisma that he brought into that game alone, it is hard to believe that the Bruins would be called champions today.
