The Bruins' perfect rookie game record against the Islanders came to an end last night as the baby Isles walloped our boys 7-2. Whatever, it's a learning experience - it stings a little but hopefully the rookies can take just as much out of that loss as they did their 8-5 win.
Elsewhere, the Stanley Cup is en route to Montreal (should we start placing bets on 'accidental' typos now?) to be engraved, Brad Marchand still has no contract, and rookie camps around the league are in full swing.
