Memorabilia Monday's: Show Us Your Sticks

This will be a new article featured while the Bruins are playing golf for the summer. I will choose a piece of Bruins memorabilia out of my collection or from something I find online and would like you all to post your favorite items as well. I have a bad addiction of spending money I do not have on Bruins items that fascinate me and I know I am not the only one out there. This week will cover hockey sticks. Whether they are signed, unique or just have sentimental value, show us what you got.

About six months ago I was aimlessly searching for unique and rare Bruins items on eBay that I could blow my paychecks on. I came across an old Northland hockey stick with autographs from Bruins players during the 1946-48 seasons. I saved it under my watched items and looked at it everyday holding myself back from pulling the trigger and buying it. I won't say what I spent for it but I talked the guy down about 30% of the asking price and decided it was time to buy it.

The stick features 21 signatures from the time period. Out of the 21 autographs six include Hall of Famers Dit Clapper, Milt Schmidt, Bobby Bauer, Woody Dumart, Ferny Flaman and Bill Cowley. What I really was looking for was anything signed by the Kraut line, but being that Bauer passed at a young age it was hard to even find anything with his signature alone. When I saw this I had to have it and the fact that it had Clapper's signature on it as well made it impossible to pass up.

Let see what you guys have in your collection.
