Tuesday Morning Skate: 2012 Hall of Fame Class Announced Today

Welp, should be fun to see how they screw this one up. Remember when they didn't select Pat Burns on his deathbed? What a terrible council full of terrible people.

Or maybe good people who made mistakes, I'm not sure.

Here's a list of newly eligible players.

Anyhow, here's my guess for this years' class:

  • Joe Sakic
  • Brendan Shanahan
And that's it. Because the council clearly screws it up all the time and this is the way to do it. They are picking the obvious people but on the other hand they will skip some out of four. They'll leave out Bure, Sundin, Oates, Roenick, Lindros, and so on.
