Preview:
No word on if Matt Bartkowski will get another shot on D tonight. He made a fairly poor showing in Columbus, but considering his prior experience with the team, additional chances should probably be considered.
We're back to manatee hockey early in the season today, facing off against the Detroit Flying Tires for the second time in five games. Our new Flortheast rivals made a pretty poor showing against the Bruins last weekend, and since then have gone 1-1-0, losing to the Phoenix Coyotes on Tuesday and beating the limping Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday. The Bruins are obviously also 1-1-0 over the same stretch, having lost to the streaking Avalanche and beating the Blue Jackets.
Tuukka Rask is rocking a GAA of 1. Loui Eriksson broke through for his first goal as a Bruin on Saturday, while Detroit scored their first power play goal of the season Saturday night. It should be an excellent rematch between these two teams. Come on down for the Public Skate in just two hours.
Never Forget:
Eh, let's go with this video again, because it's incredibly fun.
