The Roughriders managed to eke out a win against the 3-11 Edmonton Eskimos on Saturday, improving to 10-5 on the season and passing the BC Lions in the standings. The Riders clinched a playoff spot a while ago, and only have three more games to hockey for position in the west:
- BC @ Saskatchewan
- Saskatchewan @ Calgary
- Edmonton @ Saskatchewan
If the Roughriders let BC and/or the Stamps run wild on them, they're in for a rough stretch run. I don't know how tiebreakers work in the CFL, but the Stamps are two wins ahead of Saskatchewan and they play each other once in the final three games.
