Matt Benning (Northeastern University)

Northeastern visited Rich Peverley's alma mater St. Lawrence and earned a split with a 6-3 come from behind win and a 6-4 loss. Benning had an assist on the game winner in the first game. This was much bigger challenge for Northeastern after a couple comfortable weeks and it showed in the team's defensive results - something to keep an eye on.

Anton Blidh (Frölunda - on loan at Karlskrona)

At the end of last week, Blidh was sent on loan to Karlskrona of Hockeyallsvenskan, the second tier of Swedish hockey. I can't tell by the translation, but this looks like it's a very short-term transfer. This is a step up in the competition as Blidh will now see fellow Bruins prospects Arnesson and Cehlarik. Playing on a new team, Blidh's Karlskrona went 1-1 defeating Cehlarik's Asplöven 4-2 and losing to Rögle 4-2. Karlskrona are currently the top team in the league.
