The Bruins are currently going for win number one but that doesn't mean business is taking a break.
The team has announced the extension of defenseman Dennis Seidenberg through the 2017-2018 season.

This confirmes the report Darren Dreger had earlier. Dreger also notes the contract features a no-trade clause, as well.
Seidenberg was aquired along with Matt Bartkowski from the Florida Panthers in 2010 for Byron Bitz, Craig Weller and Tampa Bay's 2010 second round draft pick. Since joining the Bruins, Seidenberg's contributed 81 points in 224 games. He also blocks lots of shots.
During his time in Boston he's been the best defenseman on the team not named Chara. He's also one half of one of the best post season pairings going today. This deal will keep him wearing black and gold until he's 36 at a somewhat modest $4 million a year (taking into account the salary cap going up).
So what's the verdict? How's everyone feeling about this deal?
