Preview:

Wow, it's been a long time, eh Anaheim? The Bruins and Ducks haven't met since the early months of 2012 - March 25, to be exact. Before that it was December 2010. The Ducks are looking a little different these days. Bobby Ryan is out, and the roster has been rejuvenated by a ton of young players - Emerson Etem, Devante Smith-Pelly, Cam Fowler, and Mathieu Perreault all either weren't here or were with the team in a much smaller role last time the Bruins and Ducks played.

Sadly for everyone involved, the Finnish Flash Teemu Selanne will not be playing tonight, because the Flyers and Luke Schenn in particular are like a stupid little kid who breaks his toys so no one else can play with them. Jerks. Selanne is out for the next few weeks after taking a stick in the mouth; he will get oral surgery and miss time.

Of the last three home games the Bruins have played against Anaheim, they've only won one, and that was in early 2009, during that crazy post-Stars brawl run in the 08-09 season.

On the Bruins side of things, Ryan Spooner has been recalled. No word on whether or not he'll actually play, but that's....an interesting move. There's no indication that lines will change after last night, but the Bruins are not skating this morning, so that could very well be untrue. Stay tuned.

NEVER FORGET:

Teemu </3
