Preview:
Remember last time these two teams met? You shouldn't have to reach too far back into your memory holes: it was just last month. I almost made a comment about "oh, we're playing a West team twice this soon in the season? And then remembered that CBJ are not a western team anymore. Thanks, realignment, you jerk!
Boston College homeboy Cam Atkinson apparently spent yesterday whining about having to practice at Agganis Arena, screw him. Agganis is a delightful arena you little snot, show some respect. Nathan Horton is still broken, so despite all our tributes and well-wishes, we'll have to wait until next year.
The Jackets have been on the road for their last two games, beating the Islanders and then losing to the Capitals in DC in overtime on Tuesday night. Their top line is going to be one to watch out for, as youngster Ryan Johansen has transitioned nicely into his role as #1 center between Brandon Dubinsky and Cam Atkinson.
And as always, there's the #1 cop on the force to contend with in net.
The Bruins will skate without Adam McQuaid yet again, as he recovers from whatever lower body injury is currently plaguing him. Matt Bartkowski will draw in again, and the forward lines will remain the same. Win this one and the Bruins pull back to within one of the #1 spot in the Eastern conference.
NEVER FORGET:
Idk there aren't many highlight reel plays against CBJ, so let's just watch a highlight video from last month
