Yesterday, the Roughriders headed to Calgary to take on longtime rival the Stampeders. The Riders came to play, forcing a few fumbles and catching a few interceptions in the first half. In the second, the Stamps threatened a comeback early but we're unable to overcome the balanced attack and decent defense. It was so bad for Calgary that even Stamps fans weren't mad about reffing, which is impressive.
Out East, the Toronto Argonauts let an early lead disappear after crackhead mayor Rob Ford showed up around halftime. The Hamilton Ti-Cats earned the Eastern Grey Cup bid.
The 101st Grey Cup will be played Sunday, November 24th at 6:30pm at the Roughriders home stadium in Regina, Saskatchewan. I don't think I'll make it, but it is tempting to try to Experience Regina:
Oh yeah, Austin is a wonderful place. What's on tap, y'all?
