NCAA

Matt Benning (Northeastern University)

Northeastern was swept by University of New Hampshire 3-0 and 4-1. The second game featured three UNH power play goals. That Northeastern penalty kill is going to have to improve.

Brian Ferlin (Cornell University)

Cornell was defeated by Ben Sexton's Clarkson 3-2 and beat St. Lawrence 5-2 this week. Ferlin had a a goal in the first game and two goals and an assist in the second.

Ryan Fitzgerald (Boston College)

BC took three points from UMass, winning 2-1 in controversial fashion and also tieing 2-2. Fitzgerald was bumped down to the third and fourth lines this weekend, but still managed an assist and a goal Thursday and Friday, respectively.

Zane Gothberg (University of North Dakota)

North Dakota split its series with University of Minnesota-Duluth 4-2 and 6-3. Gothberg came on in relief in the second game and saved 16 of 19 in two periods.

Matt Grzelcyk (Boston University)

BU was blown out 7-0 by the University of Maine and won 4-1 over University of Connecticut. Grzelcyk had two assists and was named the second star of the game against UConn.

Western Michigan was swept by Denver University 5-3 and 1-0 this week. Hargrove had a team high four shots on goal in the second game.

Rob O'Gara (Yale University)

Yale defeated Sacred Heart 5-1 in its lone game this week. O'Gara didn't make the scoresheet but he was on the ice for the first two Yale goals.

Clarkson defeated Brian Ferlin's Cornell 3-2 and lost to Colgate 4-3. Sexton scored a goal in the win and had an assist in the loss.

Mitch Dempsey (Kitchener Dutchmen)

The Dutchmen defeated Elmira 3-2 and Waterloo 5-2. The team's now won 18 straight games. Dempsey, in his first action since September, had two assists this week, both in the second game.

Adam Morrison (South Carolina Stingrays)

The Stingrays lost to Florida 4-1 and defeated Gwinnett 2-1. Morrison did not see any action this week.

Djurgardens aka Animal Gardens lost both games this week, 3-2 against Mora in overtime and 6-0 to Timra.
