Bruins/Hurricanes Preview

The Bruins take on the hobbled Carolina Hurricanes for the second time in a week, this time at TD Garden.

The Match-Up

The Bruins, at 14-6-2, take on the struggling Carolina Hurricanes, who sit at 8-10-4, in matinee Hockey! The Bruins are coming off taking one point against the Blues in one of the best Hockey games of the year, and the injury-hobbled 'Canes are looking to regain their footing after a 4-3 loss to Detroit. It seems like Cam Ward has the nod in net, no word yet if Boston counters with Johnson or Rask.

The Hurricanes have struggled with injuries this season after being a decent possession team last year. With Semin out with a concussion, their 5v5 play and their place in the standings have waned. Ward has also missed significant time, as the Bruins defeated him in his first game back.
